MARCEL ROZEK

Dec 2, 2020

Rozek creates a convergence of uniquely layered patterns that harken back to the pioneers of the colour field movement such as Morris Louis. His sources of inspiration are clear but it doesn´t distort his own vision. By pouring diluted paint onto raw unprimed canvas he skillfully plays with transparency and contrasting colours in order to make his mark on this style of abstract art.
